Scott Solberg lecture on career development

I was wandering around on YouTube today and I chanced across this really interesting lecture about career development from American academic Scott Solberg. He talks about the role of careers work in early years and the impact that career development activity can have on academic performance amongst other things. I’ve been doing some thinking about how careers work fits into academic schooling and I’ve found Scott’s work really helpful in this.

You can also find part 2 and part 3 of this lecture on YouTube if you are interested in hearing more.

  1. Although the content is interesting, what this video mainly reminded me of was how much I dislike watching videos of people talking. I could have skimmed the main points from a written document in half the time. Thanks for drawing our attention to it though.
