I had a fun day yesterday at the University of Aberdeen running a social media for researchers session. One of the highlight was meeting Mark Reed and listening to his presentation on social media for research impact.
Mark is a lecturer and researcher at the Univeristy of Aberdeen – he works on environmental change and has strong interests in knowledge transfer. It is within this knowledge transfer idea that he sits most of his social media activity. As part of the session he set out a brilliant case study of how their research group have used social media.
