Let’s work together

I’ve written lots about our current industrial action. Suffice to say that I’m on strike again today and will be heading down to the picket again. I’m tired of this and would really like to see some movement from the employers and the government. However, I remain resolved to fight for decent pay for public sector workers in the HE sector and beyond. This is a personal issue, one which is about my pay and the pay of those I work with, but it is also a political issue about the general direction of economic policy and the way in which the recession is being used to entrench and extend social inequality.
