Why connect?

Why connect

Tomorrow I’ll be giving a session to our EdD students on networking and online networking for research. So this is the 2016 version of my “why connect?” session.

Tomorrow I’ll be on Twitter asking all of my friends to demonstrate to the new cohort of students that social media is actually useful. – You have been warned!

  1. Hi Tristram,

Just read your last two powerpoints with interest. Always interested to read what you’re up to. I thought I’d use this opportunity to share a networking/sharing example. On Monday 15 February from 6-8pm RSA Fellows are meeting at the Silk Mill to connect and support up to five Fellow-led ideas during our Engage event.

We’d love to see you and your networks there. It is obviously free and we’ll even have refreshments. All the details are online here. We even have one three minute slot available if you have an idea, project or activity that Fellows could help you with.
