The latest issue of Graduate Market Trends has just hit the streets. It is well worth reading and includes articles by Shakira Martin of NUS, Charlie Ball of HECSU, Sammy Li of AMOSSHE and HE consultant Brian Hipkin as well as a range of other news and views.
It also features and article by Korin Grant and I entitled ‘Getting hired’ is just part of it.
In this article we draw on both the Graduate Career Handbook and the supplementary guide that we wrote for HE staff to talk about the kind of cultural shift that we would like to see in higher education to put career much more centrally in the curriculum.
I hope you enjoy our article and the whole issue and would be really interested to hear your opinions on it.
