Yesterday I ran the second of my three introduction to career guidance workshops for psychology students at Ain Shams University, Cairo. In this workshop I tried to provide a taster of what careers practice involves. I focused on career counselling/coaching and on career education and offered them some basic concepts and activities. I also provided a brief overview of the recent paper that The Careers & Enterprise Company has published on special educational needs and disabilities as many of the students were interested in this area.
