The Institute of Student Employers has just opened up its membership for schools and colleges. The organisation exists to support student recruitment and the transition of young people from education into the workplace. It is primarily an employers association which brings together all of the key employers that are recruiting large numbers of school leavers, apprentices and graduates. It has also accepted universities as members for a number of years and has now broadened this out to include schools and colleges.
If you are involved in careers work in schools and colleges you should look at whether you can get your organisation to join. It is a brilliant way to find out more about what is going on in the early career labour market and to network with all of the key employers in this market. It will also give you access to bespoke research and consultancy from me.
