Career education: Every teacher has a role

I recently published an insight paper for myfuture in Australia. Their insight papers are great and provide a 2-4 page overview of a wide range of career development topics. The papers are really aimed at teachers and other careers professionals who are too busy to read loads of academic research, but want an overview of key topics and evidence.

I produced a paper as part of this series called Career education: Every teacher has a role. The paper is aimed at classroom teachers who are not careers specialists. It explains why career education is important and what teachers could and should do about it.

If you are interested in hearing more about this I also presented a webinar to launch the resource.

  1. Great article. So appreciated! What are your thoughts on STEM/STEAM regarding career development? Some of my colleagues believe that STEAM includes Career Development but I don’t totally agree.
