Careers strategy: making the most of everyone’s skills and talents

The Careers Strategy is out!

It is available to download from the DfE website: Careers strategy: Making the most of everyone’s skills and talents. I’m not going to attempt to analyse it – I just wanted to put it out there as soon as I could.

In brief it is based around the following four pillars.

  1. Inspiring encounters with further and higher education, and with employers and workplaces.
  2. Excellent advice and guidance programmes (which incorporated the Gatsby Benchmarks and careers leadership)
  3. Support and guidance tailored to individual needs
  4. Using data and technology to help everyone makes choices about careers

Now, it is time to see how the implementation goes.
