The Careers Strategy is out!
It is available to download from the DfE website: Careers strategy: Making the most of everyone’s skills and talents. I’m not going to attempt to analyse it – I just wanted to put it out there as soon as I could.
In brief it is based around the following four pillars.
- Inspiring encounters with further and higher education, and with employers and workplaces.
- Excellent advice and guidance programmes (which incorporated the Gatsby Benchmarks and careers leadership)
- Support and guidance tailored to individual needs
- Using data and technology to help everyone makes choices about careers
Now, it is time to see how the implementation goes.
