Survey – International impressions of Nordic education, work and career

Nordic-Map

I am conducting research on the education and employment systems in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) for a forthcoming book provisionally entitled Career and Career Guidance in the Nordic Countries.

As part of this I am interested in how people in other countries (outside of the Nordic countries) perceive the education and employment systems in the Nordic countries. I’m planning to write a chapter of the book about this external perspective on the Nordic countries and so I’d really like to ask for your help.

I’ve created a survey to ask you about your impression of the Nordic countries.  This survey will ask you for your opinions on career guidance in the Nordic countries. I am looking for what you think or feel about work, education and guidance in these countries.

You don’t have to be an expert or even to have visited the Nordic countries.

It is going to ask you to generalise about ‘Nordic countries’ but there will be an opportunity to say something more specific about each of the Nordic countries if you want to.

If you are not sure how to answer a question, go with your first impression.

The data collected from this survey will be used in research publications. No participants will be identified by name or job role. The survey has 17 questions and should take you no more than 15 minutes.

I’d really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill it in.
