I had fun last week appearing on the WONKHE Show. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this, it is a half an hour discussion and magazine based show looking at higher education issues. I was on the panel this week giving my every ready opinions on a wide range of subjects.
So if you want to hear me arguing with James Wilsdon (University of Sheffield) and Sofia Ropek (WONKHE) about capping the percentage of kids from private schools going to university (I say cap away!), the value of doing “research on research” institute (a bit like a snake swallowing its tail), a new report on care leavers and HE (universities have got to do better) and an intervention on VC pay from the Taxpayer’s Alliance (whatever!).
Enjoy!
